We make great use of other people's waste wood

Many thanks to all our Customers, Staff, Volunteers and Friends for their contributions to a very busy year

We will be closing for a Christmas break at 12.30pm on Christmas Eve and opening again on Monday 4th January 2016

Who we are

We are a local self-funded, not-for-profit social enterprise. Founded in 2009, we divert hundreds of tonnes of wood each year from landfill and instead, turn it into beautifully crafted furniture or sell as timber for builders and DIY. We are also proud members of the award winning National Community Wood Recycling Project.

Whether you are looking to save disposal costs and increase your recycling rates, buy cheap timber for a project, find bargain kindling or firewood for your wood burner or volunteer for a worthwhile cause, we offer a friendly and professional approach and always like to help.

What we do

Our wood collection service is up to 50% cheaper than normal skip hire and enables construction companies, local businesses, schools, colleges and householders to greatly reduce their disposal costs, increase recycling rates and enhance their green credentials.

Our timber prices are typically HALF of that sold through timber yards and DIY stores which is why we are growing in popularity with a wide range of customers including carpenters, handymen, DIY-ers, gardeners and allotment holders.

We produce a wide range of hand crafted products from reclaimed wood, including rustic tables, work benches, sun-loungers, wood stores, garden recycling cabinets, designer inspired coffee tables and even bird boxes.

How to get in touch

We are open Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, and Saturday mornings 9:15am to 1:00pm, but please do call ahead of your visit as sometimes we're short handed and all out collecting more lovely wood!.
